Ending the Year on a good note: To-Do list before 2020

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well. This is going to be my last post of 2019. So, today I thought I will tell you things which you can do to start your New Year on a good note. Don’t worry, this is not going to be a very long list, it’s just a list of three tasks. Three simple tasks which you can complete in one day. Here are the three tasks which you can do before the year ends:

  1. What the year has given you: Make a list of things which you have done in 2019. Even a small step towards your goal counts. Did you get a new job? That’s a win. Did you get in a habit of waking up early? That’s a win too. Did you learn how to cook pasta? Great, you are a winner too. Even a small success count. So make a list of things which this year has given you, which you have done for yourself, and pat yourself on the back. No matter how small it is, it is a success. Be proud of yourself, you made it. And yes, I am proud of you too.
  2. Things you wish you would have done but could not do: I know how much we can get over-excited at the beginning of the year, set too many goals, and could not complete them. But remember that it’s just a date on the calendar which is changing and nothing else. If you want to work on them you can still do it. It is not right to feel any kind of guilt, forgive yourself if you feel any kind of guilt after making this list. Because this list is not to make you feel guilty but to learn the lessons from the last year and move forward. Take a look at the list and think which of these things you still want to do. Take them forward in the New Year. You can still do it.
  3. Thank your loved ones: The last task you can do in this year is to take a look at the people who stood by you in your difficult times. Go ahead and thank them. Take a look at the people from whom you expected more than they did. Go ahead and still thank them and tell them that you love them (Only if you mean it). Remember that your expectations from other people are personal to you. It has nothing to do with them. Your loved ones are allowed to behave any way which they want to be. Don’t take things personally, if you love them, go ahead and tell them. Believe me, expressing your love and gratitude to your loved ones will not only make their day but yours too.

With this, we have come to the end of the post. If you liked the post then please complete these tasks. You will really feel grateful for the year. Please make a list, don’t just think about it. When you write down you get to see it in front of your eyes, and there will be sense satisfaction and motivation which you will feel when you will look at these lists. So take out a paper and pen, and make a list. And do not forget about the third point. Express your love and say thank you to your loved ones.

Coming to the third point, in the end, I would like to say thanks to you all who have supported my blog, for all the appreciation and suggestions you have showered upon me. I am thankful to you, and I love you.

And if you are looking forward to incorporating some self-care activities in the New Year, here is a list of self-care activities which can help you. Give it a read.

I will see you in the next post in the New Year, till then keep celebrating life!

With Love,

Komal
