Ambiance: Located in the DLF Mall of India, this restaurant is perfect for official lunches or family dinners. The ambience is pretty okay. I didn’t find any wow factor about it. Just a simple restaurant with the fairly good seating arrangement. What we found different was, that instead of playing usual English songs, they played Punjabi songs in the restaurant, well I would say matching with the theme of the restaurant. Overall the ambience of the restaurant is basic and nice.

Menu: It was the menu which caught our attention. The way they have presented their menu is brilliant. Dishes have names like jatt jheenga, M.C., Fauji chauk di chicken curry. More than this the presentation of the menu is great. I would not say much, just look at the pictures.

Other than the presentation, we found that the restaurant has only a few options. So I would say that what it lacks is the variety of food they provide.

What we had: For starters, we had, beetroot ki tikki, bhutta kebab and veg galouti. Among these, we liked the bhutta kebab most. Beetroot ki tikki was little on the sweeter so I would say that if you like little sweeter dishes, then go for this one.

Paneer Barrel Tikka

For the main course, we had paneer barrel tikka (which was simply a paneer tikka), paneer lababdaar, maa ki daal (daal makhani), jeera rice, boondi ka raita and garlic naan. And we must say the food was delicious. Every dish had different kind of taste, not the one which we usually have in the restaurants. The flavours were unusual and mouth-watering. We were disappointed when we looked at very few varieties on the menu, but the dishes themselves made our day.

Maa Ki daal

There is just one word I would say for the dishes they present, flavorous. The flavours of the food blasted into our mouth and we all loved it.

Service: The staff there is really good, well knowledgeable, well behaved and courteous. Overall we enjoyed our lunch there thoroughly.

Recommendations: Visit this place for delicious food. Restaurants are all about food and that is what they have made their unique selling point. A big thumbs up for this restaurant to make it all about what it should be, food.

Ratings: 4.5/5 (We found it little pricey)
