Ambiance: A gem of a place. The Tourist is a rare pearl in the ocean of restaurants located in Janpath. It has an amazing vibe as you enter this place, Live kitchen and amazingly decorated bar. Interiors of “The Tourist” have a class and gives delightful experience. It is one of the biggest property in the vicinity. It has been spread across two floors and a terrace. It has a fantastic view from its terrace.

Perfect place for those chilled out winter evenings. You could choose your destination and the Tourist radio would tell you about its specialty. Just loved everything from, the interiors to their management, to their furniture to their cutlery. Upon getting a seat on the second floor, we started admiring the ambiance before filling up our tummies.

Menu: Upon looking at the menu we discovered that the mocktails they offer have a very different range of ingredients compared to the ones we find in typical ones. The food here is well prepared and stunningly presented. “The Tourist” will give you best food experience from starters to its lavish desserts from around the globe.

What we had: For food, we ordered- Pinne Alfredo (Pasta). Everything was very nicely presented and tasted very good. It was perfectly seasoned which made it very pleasing to eat!  It has a menu which serves delicacies from around the world. Try their Red Wine Sangria, it is a classic and super special as it comes across successfully. In mocktails, we relished Mimosa in Sparkles.

Service: The staff is humble, the service is great, they know the dishes and they know the industry. It is a well-informed staff with a professional approach of everything.

Recommendation: Overall, we believe Tourist Janpath although newly opened would be a tough competition for its rivals in CP. This restaurant truly stands out, not just by the hospitality of the staff or the awesomeness of the ambiance, but because of what makes restaurants running for a long time: the food. Highly Recommended.
