Ambiance: As the name of the cafe suggests the ambiance of the cafe will give you a homely and friendly feel. The sofas in a corner, the shelves for showpieces, open bar with a touch of the kitchen, a fresh idea, but lacking the charm and comfort. The chairs were not comfortable, the lights were not so good, it’s a small cafe and it took time for us to decide where to seat. Overall I would say, we didn’t find the ambiance of this cafe very appealing.

Menu: The names given to dishes are unusual. With the names like, ‘Choti behen se zyada toofani lasooni tikka’, ‘Birbali Kofta’, ‘Awara jogi in the house’ and ‘Mango kitna Jolly hai par LLB nahi’ the cafe has tried to match the theme at its best. The quirky names of the dishes will surely bring out a smile on your faces.

The cafe offers a wide range of food, be it Asian, Chinese or North Indian. Having a good amount of varieties for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The cafe has a good point when it comes to offering variety.

What we had: We ordered Penne in Basil and Makhani Tomato Sauce and Ghar kakhas, jo deewana bana de, Awara Jogi in the house and Ex ko bhulane ka Nuskha – Ghost Booster in the drinks. We found the pasta bit over salted and there was a common sour taste in all the drinks. Not so impressed by the pasta, but drinks though with their sour taste were good enough.

Service: We found the service little slow, they brought the drinks on time. But they took time to serve us the pasta. Nevertheless, the service was quite okay.

Recommendations: Go to this cafe to experience the innovation in their style, ambiance and yes the names of their dishes.

  1. I thought you guys shouldn’t have been too generous with your overall rating of 3/5, considering the little ambience you had. I would rate it at 2.5/5. That said, it is worth a try.
